6. Paragraph Walter Mitty story

I predict that in the story “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty,” by James

Thurber. Walter Mitty is very off task at and doesn’t focus regularly on what

he is doing. The Snoopy comic strip justifies my ideas is that Snoopy is

also daydreaming. He is thinking about life, the future, and he is thinking

about himself. Snoopy is also friendless. I also predict that in the Walter

Mitty story, Walter Mitty will dream about big things like bravery, heroism. I

think it is the opposite side of him; he is very shy and not brave in reality.

Walter Mitty also thinks that he is daydreaming about what he likes to.

Related to the daydream article, I think that Walter Mitty daydreams so he

can have fun or he is just relieving his boredom. I think James Thurber is

creating a new type of writing when you add in a little bit of daydreaming to

the story and make the reader really think hard on what they are reading.

Also based on the daydream article, I can hypothesize that Walter Mitty is

very into daydreaming because I can tell that in the Snoopy comic strip,

Snoopy is daydreaming a lot too. This is all the evidence that I found that

Walter Mitty is an off task person and not focus on what he is doing.
